  • in the category Award for the best scientific work of senior scientists:

Prof. Stjepan Špalj, DMD, Ph.D., full professor at the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Health Osijek, for a paper titled “Cytotoxicity and Oxidative stress induced by nickel and titanium ions from dental alloys on cells of the gastrointestinal tract”, Toxicology and Applied Pharmacology. 2019; 383: 114784.
