As part of the University of Osijek Career Week programme, an interactive workshop entitled "Teamwork: the foundation for personal and professional development and successes" was held at the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Health in Osijek on May 18, 2023. Second-year nursing students participated in the workshop. The workshop was led by Associate Professor Ph.D. Robert Lovrić. At the beginning of the workshop, an introductory lecture was given on all the peculiarities, advantages, difficulties and possible problems in teamwork that students can expect during their professional activity and work. The lecture was followed by a practical exercise entitled "Tower of Paper", where the students were divided into three teams and built a free-standing paper tower within the given short time using team thinking, collusion and decision making. The most successful team received appropriate recognition, and the other teams received a certificate for their participation. The exercise was followed by an analysis and evaluation of the exercise and a presentation of each team's experience (type of task sharing, team coordination, mindset, idea sharing, type of collusion and decision making, possible difficulties during the activity). At the end of the exercise, the main conclusions and evaluation of the exercise were presented.
