On Wednesday, June 7, 2023, the faculty held the Advanced Life Support course. Students had the opportunity to learn to recognize rhythms for defibrillation, describe the Advanced Life Support algorithm, and basic conditions that can lead to cardiac arrest. They also practiced maintaining an airway, safely using defibrillation and placing a venous catheter, and administering medications according to basic professional competency.
We would like to thank the course instructor Assoc. professor Tanja Kovač and colleagues Željko Mudri, mag. med. techn. and Ivan Vilović, mag. med. tech. for excellent guidance of students through advanced life support and providing opportunities to practice the same.
