On May 24, 2023, starting at 13:00, at the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Health in Osijek, the promotion of the University Textbook "Internal Medicine" will be held by Associate Professor Ph.D. prim. Darko Katalinić, MD, prof. Ph.D. prim. Ivan Alerić, MD. and collaborators.
The promotion of the university textbook was officially announced by the Dean of the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Health Prof. Aleksandar Včev, MD, and the participants were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in Osijek, Prof. Ivica Mihalić, and addressed with a few words about the University Textbook "Internal Medicine". Ph.D. Ivica Mihaljević, the vice dean for teaching and students, prof. Ph.D. prim. Branko Dmitrović, MD, Vice Dean for Science and Postgraduate Studies, prof. Martina Smolić, MD, and on behalf of the author, associate professor Darko Katalinić, MD.
During the promotion, it was pointed out that the University Textbook "Internal Medicine" is the first textbook and the first edition prepared at the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Health Osijek, which unites all subfields of internal medicine on more than 850 pages, on which no less than 42 authors worked. In addition, it was emphasised that the university textbook is printed on high quality paper and has high quality pictures and tables. At the end of each chapter there are references for those seeking further information on the subject in question. The university textbook is primarily intended for students of dental medicine and, in addition to the domestic faculty, is also used at the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the University of Rijeka.
