The project Dynamic Digital Skills for Agility and Resilience in Medical and Allied Professions (DDS-MAP)

On Tuesday, May 9, 2023, the international project The Dynamic Digital Skills for Agility and Resilience in Medical and Allied Professions (DDS-MAP) was officially presented at the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Health Osijek.


The Dynamic Digital Skills for Agility and Resilience in Medical and Allied Professions project (DDS-MAP) brings together a consortium of higher education institutions (from the fields of medicine, dental medicine, nursing, education, and digital technology), nongovernmental organisations, health authorities, and health insurers with the goal of developing new learning modules that reflect the principles outlined in the Pact for Skills (2020) to create an ecosystem that facilitates learning and mastery of new and emerging digital technologies and their associated challenges.


The expected duration of the project is from March 1, 2023 to September 1, 2025 and the total value of the project co-funded by the European Union is €2,477,703.77.


Under the leadership of South East Technological University (Ireland), a consortium of 15 partners was assembled, including our Faculty of Dental Medicine and Health Osijek, J. J. Strossmayer University in Osijek and other partners: IBK Management Solutions (Germany), University College Dublin (Ireland), University of Maribor (Slovenia), Klaipedos University (Lithuania), Medical University of Lublin (Poland), Association of Knowledge and Technology Industries - GAIA (Spain), Teramo Health Authority - ASL (Italy), European Association of Service Providers for People with Disabilities (Belgium), EUROFORTIS Society (Latvia), Mutualia Mutual Social Security Collaboration (Spain), Riga Stadina University (Latvia).


At the presentation of the project, the project leaders of the partner institutions spoke about the objectives of the project and the expected outcomes of the project implementation: prof. Ph.D. John Wells, Dean of the Faculty of Health Studies at South East Technological University (Ireland), prof. Ph.D. Majda Pajnkihar, Head of Doctoral Studies at the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Maribor, and prof. Ph.D. Martina Smolić, Associate Dean for Science and Postgraduate Studies at the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Health at the University of Osijek.
