Dear students, teachers and associates,
As part of the Erasmus+ mobility of teaching staff, Professor Małgorzata Pihut, DMD (Institute of Dentistry, Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Department of Orthodontics and Prosthetics) and Professor Magdalena Orczykowska (Institute of Dentistry, Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Department of Orthodontics and Prosthetics) will be visiting the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Health in Osijek from March 31st, 2025 to April 4th, 2025.
During the visit, the professors will present their Jagiellonian University as well as the Department of Orthodontics and Prosthetics of the Institute of Dentistry in Krakow.
As part of the visit, on April 1st, 2025, they will also hold two lectures starting at 10:00 a.m. in the J.J. Hall Strossmayer, Crkvena 21 with topics:
1. Professor Małgorzata Pihut, MD, PhD. : "General principles of treatment of temporomandibular disorders"
2. Professor Magdalena Orczykowska, MD, PhD. : "Stepwise therapeutic procedure for edentulous patients with symptoms of temporomandibular disorders"
to students of the 5th year of the integrated undergraduate and graduate studies in Dental Medicine.
The lectures are part of the regular curriculum and represent an exceptional opportunity for students in the 5th year of study to gain valuable clinical experience and knowledge that will help them in future clinical practice, and at the same time, this visit will allow all interested parties to get to know the work of the Dental Institute of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and thus provide new opportunities for further professional and scientific networking.
