As part of our faculty's international collaboration and activities, we are pleased to announce the visit of Marjana Knežević, DMD, from the University of Pennsylvania, who is a guest lecturer at our faculty on October 24th and 25th.
Dr. Marjana Knežević graduated in 2012 from the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn Dental Medicine) in Philadelphia, where she continues to work as a clinical lecturer at the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences. Her primary areas of clinical practice and research include dental materials and their application in restorative dentistry.
Dr. Marjana Knežević will deliver two lectures as part of the regular curriculum. On October 24th, 2024, she will present “Variations in Tooth Number and Position” during the Tooth Morphology and Dental Anthropology course for second-year students at the faculty building, Crkvena street 21. On October 25th, 2024, at the teaching base in Orahovica, she will conduct a lecture titled “Ceramic Inlay and Onlay Restorations,” including a demonstration on dental models for sixth-year students of the integrated undergraduate and graduate study of Dental Medicine. This lecture will be available for remote attendance via MS Teams.
The lectures by Dr. Marjana Knežević are part of the standard academic program and provide an exceptional opportunity for students to gain knowledge and valuable clinical experience for their future practice.
