As part of the Eramsus+ mobility of teaching staff, Professor Magdalena Wyszyńska, MD. dent. (Department of Dental Materials, Department of Dental Prosthetics, Medical University of Silesia, Katowice, Poland) visited the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Health Osijek from January 29 to February 2, 2024.
During the visit, Professor Magdalena Wyszyńska, MD. dent. presented the Faculty of Medicine in Katowice and the Department of Dental Medicine to the members of the Faculty Council and gave a lecture to 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th year students of the integrated undergraduate and graduate study of Dental Medicine, entitled:
Diagnostics, examination of the patient, preparation for prosthetic treatment, treatment and mistakes in treatment using removable dentures
The lecture provided an insight into the complete rehabilitation of partially edentulous and edentulous patients and the various treatment options. The students acquired new knowledge that will help them in future clinical practise.
The stay of Professor Magdalena Wyszyńska, MD. dent, provided a unique opportunity to gain and exchange new experiences and the possibility to connect the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Health Osijek with the Faculty of Medicine Katowice in future Erasmus+ mobilities.
