BUSINESS COMMUNICATION

The objective of the course Business Communication in the undergraduate study programme in ‘Management’ is to familiarize students with the importance of business communication in modern management and business in general. Business communication is a part of the skills (‘tools’), which direct business and creative potentials of individuals and groups into faster and more efficient ways of solving

economic and other problems at the micro and macro level of the environment.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Identify the basic components and functions of business communication; 
  2. Clarify and apply the basics of methods and strategies for the development of successful business communication; 
  3. Analyze the impact of business communication on decision-making processes in management; 
  4. Create and propose a strategy for the development and encouragement of the establishment of an organizational climate based on communication; 
  5. Design key communication variables for business decision making; 
  6. Explain the importance, elements and types of negotiations; 
  7. Conduct a SWOT analysis of communication skills, business correspondence, and prepare and present a business presentation
