From 9 to 13 June 2025, the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Health Osijek hosted an International Category I course entitled "Myths and Facts about Teaching and Scientific Excellence in Biomedicine and Healthcare", as part of the Continuing Medical Training Program.
The course was led by Prof. Martina Smolić, PhD, Prof. Robert Smolić, PhD and Prof. Aleksandar Včev, PhD, and was intended for teachers and associates involved in teaching in the field of biomedicine and health and interdisciplinary scientific fields.
During five intensive days, participants had the opportunity to listen to lectures by distinguished professors from Belgium, Egypt, the Netherlands, Germany, Serbia and the United Kingdom, as well as teachers from the host faculty.
The program covered a wide range of topics related to higher education teaching and scientific work in biomedicine and healthcare, with an emphasis on the development of teaching, research and social competencies necessary for quality teaching and the implementation of scientific research activities.
