Workshop "Teamwork: the foundation for personal and professional development and success"
On May 9, 2024, as part of the University of Osijek Career Week programme, an interactive workshop entitled "Teamwork: the foundation for personal and professional development and success" was held at the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Health in Osijek. The workshop was attended by students of the second year of graduate studies in nursing. The workshop was organised by Associate Professor Robert Lovrić, Ph.D. At the beginning of the workshop, an introductory lecture was given on all the peculiarities, advantages, difficulties and possible problems in teamwork that students can expect during their professional activities and work. The lecture was followed by a practical exercise in which teams of students solved a practical task in a given short period of time, applying a team-oriented mindset, consultation and decision-making. The most successful team received appropriate recognition and the other teams received a certificate of appreciation for their participation. The exercise was followed by an analysis and evaluation of the exercise and a presentation of each team's experience (type of task division, team coordination, mindset, exchange of ideas, type of consultation and decision making, possible difficulties during the activity). At the end of the exercise, the main conclusions and the evaluation of the exercise were presented.
