The Faculty of Dental Medicine and Health Osijek recently hosted Marija Mercedes Aldavert Fàbregas and Laura Angrill Solé, professors from Institut Torre Vicens in Lleida, who visited the Faculty as part of a professional training programme through work shadowing in the field of dental medicine.
At the beginning of their visit, the guests were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Aleksandar Včev, PhD, Vice-Dean for Science and Postgraduate Studies Professor Martina Smolić, PhD, and Faculty Secretary Ruža Malenica.
During their stay, the visiting professors were introduced to the organisation of teaching, the delivery of practical classes, and the different approaches used in working with students in the field of dental medicine. The programme also included a clinical component, offering the guests direct insight into everyday academic and clinical practice.
As part of the clinical visits, their host was Martina Juzbašić, PhD, Specialist in Prosthodontics and Senior Assistant at the Department of Dental Medicine, who presented the organisation of clinical work and teaching in the clinical setting.
The visit took place in a welcoming and professional atmosphere, providing an opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss teaching practice, professional work, and education in the field of dental medicine.
