The Department of Clinical Medicine aims to implement and provide education to students based on the highest scientific, professional, clinical and methodological standards. The sustainability and development of the Department is directed towards scientific research activities in which we strive to include as many professors, associates and students, by proposing and acquiring modern courses that raise the quality and standard of the Department. Thereby, we encourage the professional development of all participants, from professors and associates to students. Education in the field of clinical medicine and studies, which are an integral part of it, focuses on acquiring knowledge, skills, independence and responsibility, but also the basic competencies that encourage individuals to lifelong learning. By cooperating with teaching hospitals and partner health institutions, we contribute to health promotion and disease prevention. By exchanging knowledge and experience with colleagues from other departments and institutions, we participate in the treatment of diseases in accordance with all modern, professional and legal regulations. The Department of Clinical Medicine is a highly organised unit that treats the education of undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students responsibly and conscientiously. It encourages the mobility of students, assistants, associates and professors with partners and institutions across Europe. The Department strives to fulfil its goals through continuous training and education, as well as involvement and encouragement in scientific research.
