The main objective is to show students the importance of choosing an appropriate research approach; teach students to critically analyse quantitative and qualitative research; explain the logic and process of quantitative and qualitative paradigms in research and the benefits of different methods. The specific objective of the course is to train students in selecting a specific research problem and writing research proposals.
Development of scientific knowledge and functions. Comparison of scientific paradigms.
Differences between quantitative and qualitative research. Problems suitable for quantitative and/or qualitative research.
Reasons for selecting a particular strategy and method of quantitative/qualitative data collection and analysis.
The procedure for data collection and possible problems. Methods of analysis.
Interpretation of results.
Reporting of results of quantitative/qualitative research.

4. Know the procedures of engaging in scientific institutions, anf the procedure of advancing in scientific field
5. Comment, argument and chritically elaborate avalibe scientific research and comment on statistcal analyses of the data
