CLINICAL PROPEDEUTICS II.

The objective of the course is to acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes in the methodology for recognizing basic symptoms of the disease. 

Taking medical history. Clinical diagnostics. Emergencies in medicine. Clinical picture of myocardial infarct. Clinical picture of internal bleeding. Clinical picture of cerebrovascular disease. Clinical picture of severe metabolic disorders and intoxications.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. predict the most common clinical conditions and diseases with regard to symptoms and signs;
  2. compare clinical conditions with regard to the set of symptoms, signs and main laboratory indicators;
  3. assess the health condition of patients and document appropriately;
  4. determine the procedure for taking the anamnesis, the physical status of the patient and measuring vital signs;
  5. self-evaluate the conduction of basic medical-technical procedures.
