DERMATOLOGY

Students will be presented with the basic clinical cases of the most common dermatologic diseases.

Students will be trained to understand physiopathologicalorigins and symptoms of the  most common dermatologic diseases with the goal to apply the listed content in health care of dermatology patients.

Identifying and naming basic changes on the skin. Basic methods of diagnostics and treatment in dermatovenerology. Infectious and parasitic skin diseases. Autoimmune diseases of connective tissue. Venous diseases of lower extremities. Disease of sebaceous glands and hair follicles. Dermatological oncology.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. explain the most common symptoms of dermatological diseases;
  2. explain the basis of basic dermatological procedures;
  3. analyze the role of the nurse / technician in recognizing and monitoring symptoms.
