Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. identify difficulties in patients caused by specific crises of family relationships;
2. identify opportunities for the individual / family for the type of problem solving assistance;
3. classify laws or bylaws adopted in the Republic of Croatia on interventions in cases of domestic violence;
4. explain the concept of transgenerational transmission of domestic violence;
5. determine the competencies of helpers, conditions for work in the protection of domestic violence;
6. compare personality traits in perpetrators of domestic violence and determine the prognosis of resocialization;
7. form personal conclusions using literature and other data;
8. evaluate the application of ethical principles and communication skills in health care practice.
