Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
1. evaluate aspects of quality in health care;
2. analyze quality management systems based on the standard ISO 9001;
3. establish basic statistical indicators for quality control;
4. apply seven basic quality improvement tools;
5. recommend the use of other quality improvement tools and methods.
