The practical classes, seminars and theme-based classes serve to learn how to apply the gained knowledge for understanding signs and symptoms of diseases, disease courses as well as complications and links to dental problems.
The course studies the pathophysiology of the following diseases and processes.

Coagulation disorders. Thrombosis. Disorders of external respiration. Hypoxia and cyanosis. Disturbances due to disorders of air pressure. Cough. Dyspnea. Asthma and obstructive lung disease. Pneumothorax. Bleeding and shock. Hypertension. Hypotension. Heart failure. Edema. Atherosclerosis. Transfusion uncertainty. Ischemic muscle necrosis.
