Management in dentistry

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the specifics of management in dentistry and health care in general; acquisition of personal, interpersonal and communication skills for effective management in health care; acquisition of skills for dealing with people and problems and resolving conflicts; familiarization with the relationship between management and globalization and ethical issues in management; acquisition of knowledge about information and communication technologies in health care and financing of health care systems; familiarize with the risks of the Croatian health care system; acquire basic knowledge of modern management in dentistry and health care in general; acquire knowledge and skills of organization and management as basic requirements for achieving goals; familiarize with the profile of success, motivation, characteristics of teamwork and team building; acquire knowledge and skills in conflict management and negotiation.
