Knowledge acquirement about the possibilities of usage of modern methods of regional analgetic techniques and drugs, usage risks, advantages and disadvantages in modern dental practice, as well as knowledge acquirement about anatomy with ultrasound and pathophysiology of pain, central mechanisms of neuro modelling of the pain and indications, contraindications, complications of newest invasive procedures and treatment of acute and chronic disease.
- Neurobiology of pain. Pharmacology of local anaesthetic.
- Pharmacology of vasoconstrictor, clinical drug effect.
- Preparation and usage of instruments (injections, drugs, instruments, basic techniques of drug usage).
- Physical and psychological evaluation of patient. Techniques of regional anaesthesia in dental medicine, anatomy signs and regional techniques of maxillary and mandibular anaesthesia, other central blocks, and blocks of peripheral nerves.
Unwanted events; medical-legal questions and future of pain treatment, local and system complications.
