Oral diseases and periodontology 3

The goal of the course in oral diseases is to train students to do hands-on work on patients with oral and periodontal diseases. 
The aim of the course in periodontology is to gain routine clinical work in performing initial periodontal therapy, as well as to consider the possibilities of modern rehabilitation of the stomatognathic system (place and role of periodontal therapy in implant-prosthetic and/or orthodontic rehabilitation of periodontal patients).

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

1. Determine the diagnostic and therapeutic procedures of the most common diseases of the oral mucosa and the possibilities of their treatment

2. To examine the role of oral diseases in the development of general symptoms in the human body;

3. Critically judge and analyze anamnestic data

4. Identify and implement initial therapy of oral disease

5. Valorize the importance of periodontal therapy in complex stomatognathic rehabilitation of periodontal patients.

6. Plan the rehabilitation therapy of the stomatognathic system for patients with periodontal disease.
